Privacy Policy

Sygnet is a service of Ryft Solutions (“Sygnet”, “we”). Sygnet lets a business build its own branded app for jobs, timecards, scheduling, billing and photos. This policy explains what we collect, why, and the choices you have.

Two kinds of people

Businesses that sign up (our customers) and the people they invite (their owners, office staff and crew). For information a business puts in its app, such as its customers, jobs, invoices and its team’s time, the business decides what is collected and why; we store and process it on the business’s behalf. If you use an app your employer runs on Sygnet, questions about that information should go to your employer first.

What we collect

  • Account details: name, email address, phone number if you give it, business name, and your role in the business.
  • What a business enters: customers and their contact details, jobs, quotes and invoices, schedules, timecards and hours, job photos, notes, and the app’s logo and colors.
  • Location at clock-in and clock-out, only if the business turns that on. We check the location when you clock in or out; we don’t track it in between.
  • Connected accounts: if a business connects QuickBooks, we store the access Intuit gives us so we can send invoices and hours there.
  • Technical basics: the logs our hosting keeps to run and protect the service (such as IP address, browser and the time of a request).

How we use it

To run each business’s app, sign people in, send the emails the app sends (sign-in links, invites, quotes and invoices), keep the service secure, help when someone asks for support, and improve Sygnet. We don’t sell personal information, and we don’t use it for advertising.

Cookies

We use only cookies that are strictly necessary: they keep you signed in, protect sign-in and connection steps from forgery, and remember a business’s sign-up progress. We don’t use advertising or analytics cookies. Your browser also keeps a few settings on your device, such as whether you’ve dismissed this notice. Blocking cookies will stop sign-in from working.

Who else handles it

We use service providers to run Sygnet, each only for that purpose: database and file hosting (Supabase), web hosting and security (Cloudflare), and email delivery. When a business connects QuickBooks, the information it chooses to send goes to Intuit under Intuit’s own terms. We may share information if the law requires it, or with a buyer if Sygnet is ever sold, under this same policy.

How long we keep it

For as long as the business’s account is open. When a business closes its account, we delete its app’s information within 90 days, except what we must keep for legal or accounting reasons. Backups roll off on their own schedule.

Your choices

You can see and change your own details in the app. You can ask us for a copy of your information, to correct it, or to delete it, by writing to [privacy contact email]. Depending on where you live (for example California or the EU), you may have further rights, and we’ll honor them. If the information belongs to a business’s app, we may pass your request to that business.

Security

Information is encrypted in transit, each business’s data is kept separate from every other’s, and people only see what their role allows. No system is perfectly secure; if a breach affects you, we’ll tell you as the law requires.

Children

Sygnet is for businesses and isn’t meant for anyone under 16.

Changes and contact

If we change this policy in a way that matters, we’ll say so on this page and email account owners. Questions: [privacy contact email], or Ryft Solutions, [Mailing address].
